White CandlesDo colored candles burn faster than white?

I am a science experiment on this but currently can not find any websites that can give me proof correst. If you know any websites please tell me! Oohh, please also tell me if the color candles burn faster than white candles too. Remember ... hehe.

I'm not 100% sure because I do not know much about the process of making candles, but I think the only white candles burn faster. The coloring is added to the candle color is probably not a good fuel, as opposed to the wax of the candle.

If this is true, then the color would be to lower the temperature of the flame of the candle, because it does not contribute to the combustion reaction, but is able to absorb the energy through its molecular motion and vibration.

If the flame temperature is lowered, the rate of mass consumption of the flame is low, so the candles have a color temperature lower flame and a low mass consumption and is therefore slower than burn a white candle.

In reply to respond to another user, the energy absorbed by a body because of its color is very low copared the combustion energy. Increasing the temperature of unburned fuel has almost no effect on the combustion of fuel and therefore the color of fuel does not play a role in color absorbs energy. The actual effect that would change the burning rate as indicated above.

Probably the color candle burn faster than the white candle. A candle is white because it reflects away almost all the photons of white light, including all the photons of the flame. At the extreme, a black candle reflected photons very little, but rather absorbs the wax causing them to melt more easily and burn the candle warmer and slightly faster. If you see a red candle, etc., it has absorbed all the photons except those who make you see red, etc. and burn at a speed between that of a white candle and black.

But for a real candle, the pigment used to color a candle can penetrate into the wick and support or interfere with the combustion of the wax (but the pigment strand and continue to burn to ashes). Pigments collected in the wick could also absorb photons by the flame a little warmer. A hotter flame would induce a flow more air (oxygen flow) combustion increases.

The real question was whether a white candle or a black candle burns longer (Ans: They both burn shorter!).
