Weck Glass Block

I need to choose the company for the basement windows. Is there a difference in the strength of glass?

I use Corning glass blocks in three different projects over the past 11 years. Two are exterior windows and the other is a wall between the shower and bathroom. I've never had a single failure. Blocks of Corning were higher, but I have more confidence in them. Make sure you install them as directed and use the correct mortar for outdoor use. I guess the person could break with a hammer or an ax, but they are strong. One of my was hit with a stone thrown by a lawn mower and he has no fleas. Mine have a pattern that resembles the lines in them.
