Water Sphere

Water SphereHow do I find the displacement of water when you add a sphere to a cylinder ball?

A heavy metal sphere with a radius of 10 cm has fallen into a right circular cylinder with a base radius of 10 cm. If the cylinder of origin of the water which is 20 cm in height, the height is the water after the ball is placed in it?

= pi r ^ 2 h Vcl volume of right cylinder
Vs = 4 / 3 pi r ^ 3 volume of the sphere

VCL = pi ^ 2 10 * 10 = 1000 ft
Vs = 4 / 3 * 1000 ft
volume two is Vcl + Vs = 3.7 * 1000 '
New Vcln = 3.7 * pi r ^ 2 1000 ft = h H = 100 ft
h = 7 / 3 * 10 = 70 / 3 = 23 1 / 3 cm
