Water Fountain Repair

Water Fountain RepairHow can I fix a water fountain concrete cracked, then it is waterproof?

My fountain large cement cracking frozen water, advice on how to repair the crack so that it remains watertight when I fill it with water and run the pump? Thank you!

If it's just a small crack, and not cracked in half or something, you can try to use a polyurethane or lacquer outside. You can also try to paint with a waterproofing concrete as Drylock, or perhaps even use the paint pool. If you want something quick and dirty, you get a tube of 100% silicone adhesive sealant and apply it to crack. If the crack pieces missing or is greater than say 1/8th of an inch wide, you may need to use a filler or concrete patch, then seal with one of the above methods.

There are chalk water proof @ DIY - verify that the contractor would use the hardware store for the reader concrete crack filler, etc.
