Tea Candles

I just bought two of these lanterns IKEA:

I bought them with a little cinnamon, chocolate candles and apple scented tea. But when turned on, they hardly smell at all. I found that with a lot of scented candles I bought in the past.

1) Where can I be really strong smell of scented candles tea?

2) Why does not smell when they are lit?

I think the strongest scented candles from Yankee Candle Company. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and they really do hold their fragrance when they are lit or not.
