Stopwatch Timer

Stopwatch TimerHow do I add a timer (stopwatch) in a PowerPoint presentation?

I am a teacher and I make powerpoints to help control certain areas. Is it possible to add a stopwatch / timer to monitor how long it takes to get the slides. I want students to try to challenge them to beat their time the next time they go to the computer center.
Thank you!

not directly. Not that I knew of, there is a certain way (complex) around it (sortof)

go into Paint, making numbers, save them as images. go to Windows Movie Maker, organize pictures number, and make a second each. Once you make it as long as you want, then save the movie, and insert the movie in PowerPoint. This, however, is a pain, especially if you want the timer to 5:00 for example (which is 300 file numbers), and can be placed on a single blade, and not all of them.

Another thing you can try something similar, but directly in PowerPoint. that there is a question on the blade it says "click to start" the next slides can each have a different number on this, started to change every second, and then put a button in the corner than a link to the slide answer when they finished (they need to remember their number). However, this can lead to a very long PowerPoint.

honestly, its best to give them all a stopwatch. Powerpoint is mainly for presentations, and not for questions and answers: /
