What can I do to run my electric garden (pond pumps and garden lighting) from a solar panel? I run two pumps, pond and 4 sets of garden lights through my supply of electricity and want to change it so that it runs from solar panels on top of my garage roof.
Can anyone give me advice on what size panels that I need, how much and how I did install this.
Please help as I would love to reduce my carbon footprint, but want to keep my garden looking pretty.
find the total power of the pumps, and buy a solar panel more than necessary. Why would you run garden lights during the day? to run at night, it would require deep cycle batteries and a power converter for 12vdc 120 voltac.
u can buy pumps that run on solar energy as I know you can lights
