Small Water Fountains

My pump just died and for the last month I kept a snail that was previously in a small tank of water stood bike I have the opportunity to fill with water. Instead of getting a small tank for her (and perhaps the shrimp), I was thinking about making one of these little fountains of water table to keep it in. I was wondering if this would be enough for the snail to survive ?
