Scented Lamp Oil

Scented Lamp OilCan you burn scented oil lamp in a traditional oil lamp?

I was told that I can not because the fragrance oil contains alcohol. I do not want to fire.

If the lamp uses a normal drill bit, so there is no problem. Lamp oil can be a part in the alcohol itself. In fact, alcohol lamps are very common.

Test a small amount of oil initially as fragrances in perfume oils may smell different when burned. Most are made to be broadcast by alcohol during evaporation.

Cut a small piece of wick and put a few drops of oil on it. Place the wick on a metal spoon and use a match to light it. The small amount of oil will burn quickly and allow you to see if the smell remains normal.

Fire SAFE

I've never had a problem using scented oils for perfumes oils are mine.the also because alcohol is water based and oil and water do mix.just sure the wick is cut and the lamp is clean
