Personalized Flower Pots

My fiance and I are getting married in June Since we have wild flowers for our wedding, we thought to have seeds of flowers for our wedding favors. My mother found this site where you can order customized packages of flowers and small pots of white flowers. The seeds of flowers would be $ 1.25 per pack and pots would be $ 0.25 each.

My mother also found bags of seeds at the dollar store for $ .10 each - they are not personalized or as cute, but they are much cheaper overall. We could decorate the pot with a blue ribbon for looks really nice.

My questions:
1. Would flower seed favors a good idea or bad?
2. The white pots look too cheap?
3. Should we get seed or custom dollar stores?

I say just go to the plain seed packets. At a recent wedding, we were in, we received forget-me-not seeds and planting during the summer - and we thought the couple who gave them to us because we looked at the flowers all the summer.
The pots are very good - I stick a bit of Spanish moss in each, then the seed packets.

Definitley get the stuff at dollar stores than many guests, with the calligraphy you can decorate the jars ... put a ribbon on it and write something symolic "Love grows", or something sweet.

Heres what you can do ... obtain seeds dollar stores ... but buy the tule and ribbon and make your own bag to the pot with the seeds.decorate ribbion blue .. and attach a letter of thanks you little tag card for seed tule pockets ... it will be cute .. and more personal because you do it not because you paid someone to print bags of seed personilzed


edit: not sure how exactly to do, but you can always try to find Evelop square and decorate it yourself .. you can find envelopes sqaure in any store that sells invitaions

It's a cute idea. I personlize pots if they were white, paint on them, it will add a touch sweet. flower seeds are a great idea. if you customize the pots you could get seeds surly dollar store

You can use the seeds from the dollar store and make your own recycled paper project.

construction paper and soak in water until it begins to decompose and pulpy. you can strain ...
press dough onto a cutting board, press with your hands to shape or roll with rolling pin ...
then add your seeds.

You can also deploy a sheet and cut out shapes with scissors after

cheaper to buy seed packets and make your own ... there are matrices that will reduce the envelopes
