Where can I find an online viewer to help decide what color to paint a room? I have a picture of the kitchen. I want to image and change the colors of the walls. How can I do online?
Go to http://www.behr.com color and click Explore. You can add your photos there.
Better Homes and Gardens has a great tool, like Benjamin Moore. In general, however, you are "coloring" one of their rooms ... really difficult to upload your own image and color ... as it should be down. Good luck!
A ton of paint companies offer the right functionality of their websites! Behr as mentioned above, but also my Dutch boy, Pittsburgh, Sherwin-Williams, etc. also offer discs with the program that you can buy. And they can be super helpful with the initial process of selecting colors.
The only thing to remember about visual effects and online viewers CD, you can buy, is the color representation is not 100% accurate. I worked with them before and honestly, it gives you a good starting point. Some colors are close, but others are not even in the same ball park! So, always check the samples, as well.
Another interesting feature some companies are trying to paint "wet paint" samples, so that you can test the color before you commit to one gallon wide! It's cheaper than a liter and is very useful if you have trouble deciding between a few colors. Behr and Pittsburgh both offer this option!
Good luck!
