Newspaper Plant Pots

You will need ...
A clay pot in the size you want.
A paint base color. emulsion gloss or silk is great. Use the remains of the shed, they just come to hand.
metallic spray paint, scissors, selotape, papers, newspapers and brushes.

Before you begin you need to cover the work area in the newspapers that you do not spoil the furniture with paint.

Take your pot of flowers and apply two coats of base paint color. This will take several days to complete because of drying time. Complete as indicated on the back of the paint can. Only continue when the paint is completely dry.

To add a snowflake design that you need to make paper snowflakes. Take a square of paper and fold it in half to make two triangles. Then fold in half again, and fold once more. Always fold the paper in the same direction, and keep the center of the sheet of paper at the tip of the folded triangle. Now, using scissors to cut interesting shapes along the folds, along the top and cut the point of your folded triangle. Do not cut the paper too far away to remove all pieces. Unfold the paper to reveal a beautiful snowflake. Make several different snowflakes, you can also make them in different sizes if you wish.

With small amounts of blue-tac or selotape, snowflakes turn for pots of plants. The mask of snowflakes off parts of the pan. Any part of the pot will remain hidden base color.

Spray your plants in pots and flakes of snow with a thin layer of paint. Keep the paint can move at any time. You need to avoid a buildup of paint, because it will run and ruin your design. You can always spray another layer later.

When paint is dry, carefully remove the snowflakes to reveal a beautiful snowflake frozen pot plant theme, ideal to keep for yourself or for gift giving.
