I want to make a mosaic frame around my iridescent mirror bathroom, and have no idea how, any help? Thank you!? its very easy, first of all if you can take a mirror and put on a board and Mosaic on the edges, it will be much less messy.
Go to shop local tiles and ask lots of tile odd, usually at the back and there are thousands to choose cheap from.and
pick up lots of different colors, styles, textures and break them with a hammer carefully, normally do on concrete and tile in a towel that chips are really strong.
then scrape a little tile adhesive on each tile and stick on a board. also learned that occasionally press the tiles lightly with another piece of cardboard, because this would keep, and do not even have the higher than others.
When you have finished Mosaic grout and smooth the edges, then remove the grout following instructions and it should look great
Make a frame you can hang on the wall around the mirror. Craftwood or particle board may be a good material, but make sure you waterproof it really well.
There are some beautiful small mosaic tiles there (20mm x 20mm), some of them have a pearl, iridescent finish and they come in many colors. You will not have to cut them, just stick them in a model you want. Then grout according to package directions grout.
If you use a predominantly white tile, do not use white grout - you lose the effect of the mosaic. If in doubt, use light gray.
