Ignite Your Inner Sparkle before hitting the Gym This is not all about exercise and nutrition. If you're mind is not on the agenda, even the best discipline might lead to injury.
Therefore, most exercise programs fail, and therefore lifestyle Fitness Coach Amy Lundberg, wrote "Self Care Before Sit-ups."
As we all know the spirits are intangible, why are they the key to a healthy and fit body? What this means taking a holistic approach to exercise?
Lundberg says from experience that "Most people do not want to take time to look at the mental / spiritual side of life. They jump into an exercise program and a few weeks or months later, it falls at the other. "
Lundberg focuses on building a foundation with internal clients to support their fitness program before it begins to add the component of the exercise. She said that approach seems backwards to many people, but it is the foundation, without which most people can not maintain an exercise program.
It would be simple if a cookie cutter, quick fix worked for most people. This hope is the constant lure of diet books and new programs. If I take the steps 1-10, the same as my neighbor, we should get the same results, right? But this approach science class does not ring true for diet and fitness programs.
The problem is that each of us is unique. We have unique needs and causes, often emotional, for which we need to improve our physical condition. When we honor that, it allows us to carry on with pleasure and safety.
Lundberg had a client who has trained for four months before even talk about exercise. She was a single mother who had her own business. She was overweight and he was so tired and exhausted that she ended in hospital. Lundberg knew the client had to build a solid foundation of the center before it would never be able to maintain a fitness program.
His client has learned to listen to his inner self and the pursuit followed naturally. After four months of work on his fitness center, the woman woke up one day, excited and ready to do on the treadmill. Now, she dropped two dress sizes and she exercises every day.
This scenario is extremely common. Everone should take time to feed themselves and recharge the batteries. This is especially important for women who are more likely to be compulsive nurturers of others. When you're in a cycle do, make, make it difficult to stop.
Lundberg likens the phenomenon to a crystal pitcher full of life giving water. If the family of a person is a Glass, and their work is another, and social life is another, they keep filling the glasses until the launcher is empty. Too often, we do not store any part of this water that gives life for ourselves. Then we wonder why we're exhausted, overweight and unhealthy.
Lundberg also shared some simple tips to take the frustration and failure of fitness, but beware, it does not subscribe to a cookie cutter approach.
