Interior Color SchemesPainting Tips: Color Schemes

In the wake of the proliferation of home improvement shows, namely "redecorate your neighbor's house, which flourished in the early 2000s, the sleepy world of off-white color inside was hit by a storm bow sky brightness and shadow uprooted wheels color pages long neglected. I am a firm believe in the old adage "the customer is always right." Thus, I boldly painted kitchens Dijon salmon nurseries, salons and any number of colors other than beige called Tan. Sometimes, the colors have been a homerun. Other times, well, not so much. Word to the wise: if it looks like the secret sauce of your local burger joint, you may want to reconsider. Here are some tips you might consider.

  1. Sometimes, less is more. The best thing that came out of the 2000s explosion of color, "is the accent wall. It is a great way to get a little crazy, and with relatively little risk. For instance, the wall of your dining room with Monet prints and two candle sconces look great with a bit of tannin Snip.
  2. On the ceilings, white is never extinguished. If you want to go ahead and paint the entire room that Blue Sailor's beautiful, absolutely not paint the ceiling with this color. Darker colors (anything but white) on the ceiling make the room closing in on his car. Unless you enjoy the feeling of being held under a sleeping bag, keep the ceiling white.
  3. Trust your instincts, somehow. Even if your friends look at you sideways when you tell them what colors you plan to use, go with your gut. After all, what do they know? They probably wanted wall image in the eighties. However, some caution is wise. Most paint suppliers offer free samples, or liters of paint for much less than a gallon. Experiment a little before you pull the trigger.

I hope this tip was helpful and you can get a nice finish and work on your home. Remember, a new coat of paint on the exterior of your home adds considerably to the appeal and reduce the value of your home.
