What are the hardeners and reducers when painting a car? I plan to paint my car black matte. I'm pretty sure I'll use Hot Rod Flatz paint, and the kit "complete" comes with a gal. Paint, 1 quart, hardener, and a QT interval. Reducer. My first question is what is hardener and reducer?
I wonder this because it means I do not use a primer or clear coat? He said complete kit but I do not know how these things work (hardener, reducer).
If I still need to finish and clear what kind? This will allow the painting flat to last the longest.
And also, (if I am someone here who knows a lot about painting car) What kind of sanding should be done? What are all the steps from beginning to end. And what products are affected by these measures? I understand that I need to use an oil and remove dirt and sand (or wet sand?, This grain? Alrigt An orbital sander?) And the first? (Lacquer? Urethane? Anything else?), Then painting, then turn off?
Let me know what products you offer and how you do it.
ANY Help would be great. Thank you.

this explains everything you need to know about the gear and yes hardeners. And the car must be first.Primer primer-ED is a bit flat it is either beige or gray. Primer is not a urethane varnish, but dries flat and can be sanded with wet 400-600 0r 800 kernels
Gear is what allows the spray paint in the thinning.
Curing is what makes the painting hard and dry. Without paint hardener will remain flexible and take off, just wind alone driving.I know because it happened to me when I had my car painted and they forgot to add the hardener. I was about 55 km / h on I-95 wind got under the paint and it repealed as a banana.
So if you do it yourself read all about how to do before you begin to start. And learn as much as you can. Good luck
