Hanging Plant Containers

Hanging Plant ContainersWhat are good, I hope native, drought and heat resistant containers for hanging plants in southern Ontario?

I have an awful staircase three floors, I would like to camouflage with some hanging plants. I would like to plant something that hangs a bit, which will strive in the summer heat in southern Ontario and must be able to grow in container window box style, the vines are good too. Greenery is only correct, but I want a little color too. Are morning glory a good option? I get full exposure to the sun is unobstructed. I'm new to gardening, so easy care is best for me. I would be open for planting "weeds" as they are pretty, and Hardy - Why fight Mother Nature.

I would say cons containers. Use a vineyard planted at the bottom of the stairs and to guide its growth. Niagara Region hardy vines: Wisteria, Ivy, etc. Trumpet Vines
