Handmade Candles Is it bad taste to give my hairdresser a box of candles in hand instead of money as a Christmas gift? I am a senior at the university, and although the one I splurge on is my hair (I usually pay $ 200 per visit), I can not afford to give him a cash bonus as most important People are encouraged to do so. My cousin is a hairdresser and I help out during the holidays and it gets a lot of different things ... appreciates all. So I think the candle is a great gift. It would not taste bad at all. It's something that you take your time and do. So give them and I am sure they will love it. (I) Would you sell them? I love the candles .... Not sticky at all. I think it would be tacky to give money. I want to give money as a tip, but not as a Christmas gift. I want the best quality candles. Nooo, if you pay that much per visit, they will have enough money. candles home will be fine. thats too cute and nice, do not forget to mention that you made sure he knows you put effort and thought into it. :] I am a hairdresser ........ a candle would be great ... and very nice No, I think it makes it even more personal and more reflective. Very good idea. Go ahead. Wow Let me be your hairdresser! Tacky? Not far from there. What a sweet and thoughtful gift from your heart. Posted on May 24, 2010.
