Glazed Ceramic Pots

Glazed Ceramic PotsPaint a ceramic pot?

I won a raffle and a portion of the issue was a ceramic flower pot. It is a flower pot of very good quality, and just the size that I could use. But it is a lousy color. How and what paint can paint a glazed ceramic pot? Want to place it outside and do not want the paint is peeling.

If it has already been marked, you'll never paint to stick to him forever. Get thinner or paint remover and strip all of it. Then paint it however you want to paint it. Acrylic paint is the best. You can find at craft stores or Wal-Mart. After it was painted, you'll need Clear Coat / gloss the whole thing REALLY well. If you do not receive the entire pot covered with a coating of any kind, moisture can undernearth your paint / gloss and cause the pot to chip Peel.

paaint acrylic works, but if it's a nice pot, I put woulndn't outside because they will take a beating.

apply a thin glaze, then put the primer, and then the color of your choice.
