Flower Containers

Flower ContainersWhat can I use in my flower beds and containers to keep cats away from them?

My outdoor cats and indoor cats like to use the flower beds and containers as litter. What can I do to keep them out of my flowerbeds and containers.

mothballs aniamal hate the smell and they will not harm your plants

A small pot of ammonia. They hate the smell.

mothballs

I heard that vinegar spray along the edges is a natural way to deter cats. They hate the smell.

Crushed mothballs or coffee. It repels dogs and squirrels too.

Wolud I suggest you use fresh orange peel. Cats dislike strong odors and my cats hate the smell of fresh orange peel or orange peel that has been peeled even for a few days. Once, I used to keep them out of the kitchen table. I stopped after a while because they would'nt give up and continue to be angry, but he does get results. If you do not have the orange peel around your plants you could probably just rub the fresh orange on and around them.

Do not use mothballs are toxic (and flameable). Cats dislike the smell of citrus so use orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime (etc.) peels. You have to put in new and old skins lose their fragrance, but at least they are not toxic to the person.
