Disney Alarm Clock

Disney Alarm ClockHow a Disney World vacation plan and make it memorable

Unlike a week at the beach you can not book your Disney World vacation and then forget about it until you arrive. If you want to make your holiday so magical treasure your family memories forever, so you need to do some planning. So read on and I'll tell you a secret or three.

1. Break the rules and pack your clock

My best advice to get the most out of your Disney vacation is to pack an alarm clock. I know what you think. It's supposed to be a trip so that the clock should remain at home. It is what most people think, so they all sleep and then arrive at the gates of the park at about 11am.

Therefore, in this case, the early bird catches the worm.

If you can reach the park gates half an hour before the official opening, you are quite literally the park to yourselves for a couple of hours. Believe me, you have more experience in these two hours sleep that leaders will see in a full day.

You do not even need to worry about sleep deprivation that you have plenty of time to return to your hotel in the afternoon for a siesta before returning to the parks for the evening entertainment.

2. Make dinner reservations prior to travel

There are over 100 restaurants on the property of Disney and many of them are world class. If your family wants to experience some of the restaurants with table service unions, including those where the characters are present, then you will need to book in advance. Advanced Dining Reservations can be made either online or by calling Customer Service 180 days before you travel.

3. Do not try to cram too

People often ask me why I keep coming back to Disney World year after year and my answer is that even after 20 years of holidays at the resort I have not seen everything there is to see. The Resort is twice the size of Manhattan and four THEMEPARKS, two water parks and a commercial village just to name a few things there is no way you will see everything in one vacation.

Try and press down well and that you will be tired and cranky. Instead, you should spend a little time before your trip to know more about what the resort has to offer and to write to the loss of what you and your family really want to experience. From there, you'll be able to create a plan to help you maximize the magic for you and your family.
