Bedroom set ... I'm looking foward to buying a exp? please ..? Ok, so I'm looking on getting a brand new series room. I went to a store today and a guy offered me a queen size bed, bed frame, dresser, drawer, mirror and two night itself. Real "oak" for $ 1300 I convinced him to lower the price of $ 2,000 ... im just not on this earth ... I know this really is not compressed or not, it's expensive .. but for some important reason to doubt. (
I do not like the fact that the chest for example ... Display ... only as thin wood screwed / fastened in the back, u know to cover the chest. Not all chest / drawers that are stapled or screwed in the back? Is this normal?
I mean everything else looks decent and my friend told me that his sale a very good and almost unbeatable ... No it seems almost desperate to sell!. I went to a store n Previous another guy sell me pine solid wood set with my choice of color for the wood finish ($ 1.414), but not nothing compared to the agreement that the other guys gave me !? (No night, no bed, and with the taxes ... and supposedly, he gave me a "discount")
What do you guys think? Oak or solid pine ... and why? Also whats the difference? and how can I say? ... More details will be great!
THANK YOU HAVE A HAPPY and everyone GIVE THANKS!
1. Do not buy something substantial between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hysterical publicity around the clock and the crowd mad sure it will not be a good deal.
2. Look at many stores and have at least three candidates before making a choice. One bedroom will please or annoy you lot for years to come. If you have any doubts, do not buy.
3. Oak is a hardwood, and Pine is very soft. Any slight impact will leave a gap on the pine. However, many do not find the pattern of grain on the oak very attractive. Other hardwoods and more attractive are maple, birch, cherry.
4. It's very embarrassing and costly to get rid of boring furniture. Again, do not rush to buy.
