Concrete Garden Pots

Concrete Garden PotsThe manufacture of molds for large garden pots?

I recently decided to raise large garden pots to concrete. How can I make a mold for casting force large pots circular about 4 feet by 4 feet. I would do it in one piece. I will use the tufa concrete mix.

Thank you

I am not a pot of this size in the mixture used to form "tuff" in the United States would resist the force of the volume of earth ... if made of concrete on the sides should be at least 3 mm thick tuff, they would likely be twice the base and curve on the sides should be very thick. I do not know
About the pan on a planter the size you need to build yourself and would need a huge amount of bracing. You can make a latex mold of an existing pot or a cut on several blocks of Styrofoam, then coat with a cementitious material and make the mold from there ... if you want it thats the only way to go ...

Good luck and thank you .. Flag

Why not use the land? just dig the shape you like and set sound hardware Frome tube should be smaller than the hole in the ground, then pour the cement between the soil and the tube to the shape of the pot as you want

you need a solid framework to build your mold and use of green sand to build your mold with a recipe here to make your own.
