I think mortar should do the trick, believe me, my beautiful POP is a construction worker. He built our house from 0 in a large house size! You can get it at Home Depot and places like that! Good luck!

Try mixing mortar or thin or heavy outdoor construction adhesive quality (Liquid Nails is a good one).

You can use a concrete adhesive.

like go to Menards or Home Depot tile adhesive or caulk, I've used do not remember the brand but it works very well
