Wall clock - Only in your dreams It was a very winter morning in the Upper Midwest. The day it snowed about 8 inches of the white powdery substance. It is 6:00 in the morning and I'm in my driveway shoveling snow to clear the way for my car.
It took me about two hours to finish the job of snow removal around the outside of my house. And as always, I shovel the snow around the house of my neighbor retired. Agnes is 78 years and it just does not have the strength to handle snow removal more. She always invited me (after I shovel around his house) for a cup of hot chocolate.
Well, this day was no different from the past. When I finished shoveling around the house of Agnes, she stuck her head out the door and invited me in. You know, hot chocolate always tastes better after a good workout in the snow ' winter.
During my visit with Agnes, she said she had a clock in his living room wall that stopped running. She said that the batteries had died. So we went into the living room and of course, the large wall clock in the living room was not running. I went to remove the clock from the wall and changed the batteries with batteries Agnes had already purchased. She was so happy that the clock on the wall of his living room is now running again.
The next thing you know, my cell phone rings. This is my mother. She said she had a dentist appointment and when she would start her car, the car would not start. I told him I would come over to his house and give him a ride to the dentist. When I got home my mother, we had no time to lose, if we have had in my car and went to his dentist appointment.
He was on the way to the dentist, my mother said that the clock in the kitchen was not working. I told my mother that when we returned home, I would check if the batteries are dead and replaced if they are dead. When I mentioned battery, my mother thought it would be a good idea to pick up new batteries at a hardware store on the way home from the dentist. She also said it would be a good idea to change the batteries in all smoke detectors and gas. I said I'd do anything to change the battery when we get back to his house. This put a smile on his face.
When I got home it was 4:00 PM. I took my shoes, put on my slippers, put on the evening news on my TV and I sat in my chair to watch the news.
Then everything started. I had to sleep immediately. The adventure I went through my dream has everything to do with what happened earlier in the day.
My dream started with me shoveling snow in front of a retail store. I was on the sidewalk in front of the store to clear the snow. The good news is that I was almost finished clearing snow from the warehouse. This sidewalk display should be as long as the city block. I feel beaten, like I was shoveling snow for several hours before the store. A good feeling came over me, knowing that my shoveling snow job has finally come to an end.
As I'm standing outside in front of the store, I look up towards the front wall outside the store and a large illuminated sign reads "Clocks MAMMOTH MART." I think to myself: "Where am I? "
My curiosity got overwhelming, I decided to go into the store and take a look. Well let me tell you that this is the largest store I've ever seen. It would probably take 5-10 minutes walk from the front of the store at the rear. The size of this store is.
The second thing I noticed, after the store size, wall clocks. Walking through the main island, I think there should be any type of wall clock in the universe on the screen here. Incredible!
It was a display for each type of wall clock imaginable. These d.
