Ceramic Soup Bowls

My son peed in one of our dear ceramic soup bowls, I can not afford to discard. How can I clean it so that there is no risk of any remaining germs? Should I use commercial cleaners toilet first, then liquid dishwashing? Or simply wash several times with detergent should do? Or is there another way? Thank you.

If you have already done these things you can try to put it in boiling water (or pressure cooker) for absolutely germ free.
