Ceramic Soup Bowls How can I clean out a ceramic soup bowl my son peed in? My son peed in one of our dear ceramic soup bowls, I can not afford to discard. How can I clean it so that there is no risk of any remaining germs? Should I use commercial cleaners toilet first, then liquid dishwashing? Or simply wash several times with detergent should do? Or is there another way? Thank you. Bleach it. discard it and go to Walmart to buy a new th (: I think it's a rinse achohol will do If you have already done these things you can try to put it in boiling water (or pressure cooker) for absolutely germ free. Soak in a bleach solution of 1 cup bleach to 1 gallon of water. Let them at least 5 minutes .... 15 would be better. This will kill all bacterial agents found in the urine. Then, you should not rinse, just let air dry. Once it is dry, you can wash the dishes with ordinary dish washing liquid for an extra measure of assurity. I did a little looking around for the cleaning for you. I know that mental stress, you can undergo, thinking, "Wow, I eat the bowl ..." I asked my aunt, including a nurse in a primary school, and she told me about this vacuum they use an environmentally friendly germ, as a school. Posted on June 10, 2010.
