How many times do you redecorate your floor? You might think that would require too much effort: ripping and replacing carpet or linoleum to get rid of set tiles. But this is not true! Just adding a camouflage rug to decorate can beautify your favorite area. Here are some tips for the use of carpet in the decor of your camouflage. Should I start my carpet, or end with it? Really, you can have two consequences. Some experts say you should choose your carpet first, others say you should save it for last. If you found a carpet of camouflage that you really like, it is perfectly fine to build the space around it. A good rug can really tie a room together. Interior and exterior With the weather warms, you'll be spending time outdoors as much as you inside. Add a camouflage rug to your favorite outdoor space - be it a back porch or on a dock at the lake. Make sure it is weatherproof, if you leave it outside all year. Camouflage carpets and rugs Most people think of hard floors like wood or tile when they think adding carpet. However, you can still rock a camouflage rug on the carpet! As long as the carpet is low pile, you can save your carpet where you want. A belt can add a touch of color to the floor, or help section off an area of the room without adding a physical divider. If you are worried about the carpet slipping on the carpet, it anchors with furniture, or use double-sided tape to secure. Sizes If your carpet camouflage is too large, it will make the room look small. If it is too small, it does not fit well with your room. A good rule is to get two feet of carpeting unless the shortest wall of your room. So if your room is 8 ft x 10 ft, you want a rug that was 6 feet long. If you use the carpet section of an area outside the room, make sure it is big enough to cover the area, including a third before half the furniture. If it's in the dining room, the rug should be large enough to not only keep the table but all the chairs as they are released (which means additional 18-24 inches). These tips should be enough to get you started on the road to happiness carpet. Good design! Posted on April 24, 2010.
