Best Exterior PrimerExterior painting 14 Tips You should not ignore
Exterior painting for most homeowners is one project they wish never needed their attention. However, there are important procedures in preparation and paint application, which if taken can greatly improve your performance and the quality of a paint job.

1. The first step in preparation for exterior painting is to pressure wash your house using M1 and obstruction of bleach, the peeling paint of course, dirt, mold, green algae, a nest wasp, and others are removed. Once washed, scrape any remaining loose paint off with a scraper and wire brush strong. Sand any bare wood to prepare it for bait. Be sure to wear some kind of eye protection and then start at the top and work your way down, holding the nozzle about six inches from the surface and at an angle of 45 degrees.

2. If you find mold still exist after this process, you may need to apply bleach to a rag and scrub these areas. Mildew is attracted by the oil-based paints in oil, but grows on latex paints as well. If mold develops on your house, and you can not eliminate it completely, you can add a bit of mold inhibitor paint. However, I will give you a word of caution at this point. Good quality paints already have a safe amount of mildew inhibitors engineered into their formulas. If you add more paint to mold it can cause your paint to disappear prematurely, with lots of sun exposure. Allow all surfaces to dry thoroughly before caulking and priming bare wood.

3. Exterior painting is significantly improved with proper caulking. When caulking trim to siding, always place the amount of sealant with your finger. This will improve adhesion. When caulking trim to brick, make sure you use a bead of sealant very close, but does not spread with your finger or you will make a mess of the caulk line and have to clean your brick. Just use some common sense when caulking. If you are caulking Hardie Plank, use a putty elastomer with superior capacity very extensible. Hardie plank expands and contracts more than most caulks can handle.

4. Be sure and check all metal surfaces such as railings and gutters for peeling paint. Remove loose paint with a brush metal brush or power. As acrylic bonding primers exist on the market today for priming bare metal. If you are painting brick, check for cracks. Caulk cracks before painting.

5. If the masonry is less than five years, it can seep through a painted surface. If less than five years, then avoid this problem in attack with hydrochloric acid solution (1 part acid to five parts water). Do not forget to take appropriate precautions. This acid is very caustic. Wear rubber gloves and goggles. Pour water into a plastic container, then add acid. This will help prevent splashing. Scrub this compound into the concrete. This solution will neutralize the acid in the concrete. Wash the solution with fresh water. Your concrete is now etched.

6. Check your home for any bare wood and prime with a latex primer or primer high quality premium base oil. This primer is the only coat that bonds directly to the wood, therefore it must be of superior quality. A layer of paint on your house is not better than the first layer is applied to wood. If the first layer (primer) fails, the primer coat and take off together.

7. Consider masking around light fixtures, motion sensors, electrical boxes, etc. If you plan to use a paint sprayer for your siding, then I recommend covering all windows with plastic and duct tape. This will save you much time to clean.

8. In my opinion, as a professional in this area, where siding joins at the base, always turn off your plate to the outer edge of the leader board instead of following the contour of your siding. This product appeal more to look away. When e.
