Beautiful Throws

Beautiful ThrowsAnyone with a child who has downsyndrome, any advice? My beautiful daughter throws tantrums alottt!?

Your daughter is in a kind of therapy? One of my friends has a son who is 3 and DS, and various therapies he has 3 or 4 days a week. He started throwing temper tantrums, so they increased his "speech" therapy. He learns more than how to communicate verbally - they do a lot of signing. It lacks a lot of skill to do a lot of signs and do a lot "correctly", but it can be pretty well enough to let others know what he's trying to say. It really helped - his anger is quite low for a minimum. Now, he throws the most tantrums because he has trouble to get into things. lol

My niece and nephew both have Down syndrome.Tantrums are a normal part of growth and are often worse in children with down sydrome.Actually worse. They sometimes they often lack the communication skills that other children their age tend to have have. They Suitable for help to express what they want.my best suggestion is to try to stop attacks before they happen.Watch signs, she becomes frustrated or that it is to have trouble. If she is in therapy (which, it should be) asking for suggestions them.Learn her what her needs are you.For example if it is unique with some moments of prepare for the day by its focus on something. If she gets angry and throws a fit when she wants something to eat or drink flash cards make and have a point that it wants.Try sign language as another form of luck.Be communication.Good sure to hold my little tight. She is a true gift from God and you have been given for a reason! !

I found this online for you ...

"Angry outbursts are fairly common in the 2 - and 3 years. A child with Down syndrome can have tantrums that begin at 3 or 4 years. The behavior itself is not really different, nor the techniques you would use to intervene. When we look at behavior problems in children with Down syndrome, it is important to take into account the child's level of functioning. We must evaluate the behavior in the context of developmental age, not only chronological age.

It is also important to know the language skills of the child. Many behavior problems in children with Down syndrome are related to their frustration with communication. We often find that we can successfully address behavioral problems by helping children find verbal and / or non-verbal ways to express themselves and communicate more effectively.

How do i deal with crises in my daughter who is three ... depends on the purpose for which it is tantruming. and how.
