This signal is sent usually several times a week, if not several times a day. If, within one week, your clock is not set, you can be too far from a transmission tower to receive the signal. So you will not be able to use the clock, atomic clocks have no more manual control .. I mean, why sell a clock that sets itself so it can be 100% accurate if you're going to put buttons on it so it can be adjusted, which then gets precision. then it is not atomic. hope this helps. luck.

Accurite stations had a problem with the clock wrong. The only thing you do is SCAN refer to the manufacturer. Better yet, save your money and buy a top model. Do not try to slander Accurite but this product is very cheaply made. Report Abuse
